i don't care about the damn calculation. anything that states mercenary tao is capable of hypersonic or even supersonic speeds at normal altitudes is wrong. later numbers contradict the possibility of that feat, and so it didn't happen the way you think it did.

you have no clue how fast the pillar was moving, because you don't know if tao accelerated it after he boarded. tao is a crane school master. bukujutsu is the crane school's signature technique. therefore tao knows bukujutsu.

i think the pillar was just to conserve ki getting altitude, and then he accelerated once he was in the thin air. wind resistance really does play a role in their speed, which is why ssj pre rosat gotenks is the fastest character in the entire manga. because he flew in space, something no one else did.

high altitude travel is not useful in determining speed.
Well, check the Naruto Forums for more information regarding the calculation. I'll just stop debating from here. It hurts my head so much.

 that gohan thing is pretty funny considering , 4 year old pan circles the earth for fun(thanks kp)
funny thing is the few times we do get feats there inconsistent or should be higher, take them as they are, and u are underestimating the z fighters , boost them too high and ur overestimating them

but logically speaking u have to go with whats shown even if its inconsistent, but if u do have them higher then whats shown that is 100% reasonable because of the inconsistency but at the same time u cant say yeah ''goku can lift a bijillion tons' , but u cant say no it doesnt count or bad feat to the feats that are present

the feats argument works both ways


as for this versus, i seem to have underestimated sasuke's abilities in the other versus, and to add itachi dodged that attack with the help of his MS

i say sasuke wins or yoh flip a coin its hard to tell imo

 there's nothing wrong with the feats we are shown. they are generally consistent, barring a few outliers like tao that need explanation or ignoring.

@pan. that means either pan flies high or pan > pre 25th budokai base gohan. either way works fine, considering her dad is ultimate gohan. in fact, she's almost definitely higher than that gohan, because she should be able to defeat at least goten and trunks at the 28th budokai. assuming they haven't gotten weaker in the intervening years, that puts her around 3x as powerful as that gohan by my current model.

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

 i have is

base gohan and pan roughly the same in base

so the gohan feat doesnt work out too good for me personally

 it's not the feat that's the problem, though.

gohan at that time was weak. if you have her that low, she would be the weakest ki user in the 28th budokai, which directly contradicts goku's prediction that she would definitely go far. she has to at least be stronger than goten. who is implied to be as strong or stronger than he was post rosat.
